Black Flag Jiu-Jitsu was created by Rockford natives Aaron Lynde and Kenneth Martin, two lifelong grapplers who wanted to bring world-class jiu-jitsu to their hometown. What started as a dream quickly turned into a thriving academy where athletes of all ages come to challenge themselves, push their limits, and earn what’s theirs.
We’re not about gimmicks. No watered-down belts. No drama. Just high-quality grappling in a space where everyone works hard and helps each other grow.
