A T-shirt and athletic shorts (without zippers) work just fine. If it's a gi class and you don’t have one, we can lend you one for your first session.

Nope. Jiu-jitsu gets you in shape. Just show up and we’ll help you build from wherever you're at.

Yes. Our kids’ classes are structured, supervised, and focused on safety, fun, and development. Kids build confidence, discipline, and body awareness.

Not at all. Most of our students started with zero experience. Our All Levels classes are beginner-friendly and hands-on.

We use the Constraint-Led Approach (CLA) meaning all training includes live resistance, no static drilling. We’re also deeply community-rooted and ego-free.

It varies, on average, 8–12 years. Promotions are earned through effort, consistency, and skill, not attendance.

That’s normal. Everyone feels that way. But once you walk through the door, you’ll see we’ve got a culture that supports beginners.

2–3 times a week is a solid start. As your body adapts and you get hooked, you can increase from there.

Gi training uses the traditional uniform, which allows for different grips and strategies. No-gi is faster-paced and resembles wrestling. Both have value — we train in both.

We start accepting students at age 5 in our Beginner Kids program.

Absolutely. We're affiliated with Pedigo Submission Fighting, and our comp team trains with intent. We’ll help you prepare if that’s your goal.

Not at all. Competition is optional. Many students train for fitness, self-defense, and mental growth.

Yes, your first class is free. Come try it out and see how it feels.

We’ll work with you. Let us know ahead of time and our coaches will help you train safely and intelligently.

Be respectful. Keep your hygiene up (breath, body odor, fingernails, etc.). Be a good partner. Ask questions. Tap early. Leave your ego at the door.

Not at first. But every member receives a gi, belt, and no gi kit on sign up. You can also find gear at Go Forth Brand, our official outfitter.

You earn them. Promotions are based on your development, not attendance or time alone. If you’re getting better, we’ll see it.

Yes! We encourage it. Come watch a class, meet the coaches, and ask questions.
