Fuji Bloomington Results
This past weekend, our PSF Bloomington team showed up and left no doubt at the Fuji Bloomington Open. Across several divisions, our athletes fought hard, made history, and brought home an outstanding haul. The highlight? Taking home the Overall Adults Trophy for our affiliate, a trophy that goes not just to winners, but to those who represent consistency, heart, and collective excellence. Here are the Fuji Bloomington Results from our team.
Black Flag Jiu-Jitsu Podium Results
- Kane stepped onto the mats at blue belt for the first time and came away with double silver in Blue Belt divisions. A huge performance for someone fresh competing at Blue—this sets the tone for what’s coming in his journey.
- Kenny brought home Black Belt gold, showing veteran poise and championship-level grit.
- Kyetin—also competing at Blue Belt for the first time—earned gold and bronze. That kind of two-medal showing in a debut Blue division speaks volumes.
- Jack, likewise, won bronze in his Blue Belt division in his first Blue competition. Every match was a battle, and he came away with podium hardware.
All the Blue Belt competitors mentioned above were competing in their first time at Blue Belt. That means they were testing new waters, facing tougher brackets, and doing so with determination and skill. For someone’s first Blue Belt competition, medaling once is big. Medaling twice? That’s a testament to great coaching, strong physical preparation, and a mindset that doesn’t settle.
It’s not just individual success. By performing so well across several divisions, PSF Bloomington earned the Overall Adults Trophy. That trophy represents more than wins, it’s about depth, teamwork, and having enough athletes excelling that the affiliate earns a top placement across the board. This is proof of the strength of our training culture and the work being done day in and day out.
If this weekend showed us anything, it’s that stepping up is possible, and PSF is the place where it happens.
Congratulations to all the competitors, coaches, and everyone who cheered on the sidelines. Let’s keep this momentum rolling into the next tournaments!
