IBJJF Worlds

Yesterday was the start of IBJJF Worlds and we are proud our guys Jeff Larsen and Deon Roby alongside Coach Kenny for traveling halfway across the country to compete in one of the most anticipated events of the year. Although Jeff and Deon came up short, we had tons of success across the board for our Pedigo Submission Fighting team.

Michael Pixley is one of the rising names in BJJ and winning Brown Belt Worlds proves that he is more than capable at being one of the best grapplers in the world in the next few years. Pixley came into the tournament as the #2 seed. Pixley ran through the first round by submitting Alex Hudic. He then finished his next opponent Rodrigio Ferreira Dos Santos in the semi-finals. In the finals Pixley does what he has been doing all year, winning. He submits his last opponent: Natã Lima to solidify his perfect Brown Belt Worlds title run.

IBJJF Worlds is one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year. This tournament brings the best athletes from all over the world in their respective rank and weight divisions.

Since opening Black Flag we have had tons of success on the IBJJF circuit. 2026 will be another huge year for the gym and PSF as a team. With multiple black belt world champions, the PSF takeover is real and we are all witnesses.
