Strength & conditioning program

ROCKFORD, IL — Black Flag Jiu-Jitsu has officially launched a NEW Strength and Conditioning Program designed to elevate its athletes’ performance and durability. Running Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, this morning program aims to give grapplers the physical requirements needed to thrive in training and competition.

Sessions focus on functional strength, movement efficiency, and injury resistance. Programming is balanced to support recovery while still driving physical for Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you’re competing at the highest level or looking to get in shape while learning the art, this class delivers real results.

The program is open to all members, regardless of athletic background. Coaches provide progressions and scaling options to meet each participant’s ability. Newer students build confidence and durability, while seasoned grapplers develop explosive power and mat endurance.

With competition season heating up and athletes pushing their limits, proper strength and conditioning programs becomes a crucial piece of the puzzle. Black Flag’s new initiative reflects its continued commitment to long-term athletic development and supporting members both inside and outside the gi.
